Folks, I have given myself a severe talking to and finally signed up to Goodreads.com. This isn’t in an effort to encourage myself to read more books (because, hey, I’ve never had a problem with that) it’s more of a method to keep track of them.
Sometimes I think back to all the books I’ve read in my life and wonder how many they’d number, how big a bookshelf they’d fill if I stacked them all spine to spine. I suppose that the number of books I’ve read in my whole lifetime is lost to me now – but I think it’s going to be really interesting to see how many I read this year.
I’m also planning to write more book reviews for this blog, and then share them over on Goodreads. If you are passionately against me writing more book reviews, then, erm, sorry. If you’re not passionately opposed to it – then I guess you’re in luck!
Back to the subject in hand; are you on Goodreads? Let’s be friends! I’m KtAndersonBlogs.

Last year I reviewed each book I read on my blog (although they badly started stacking awaiting a review – think I am about ten out in the end) and it was great fun to see a) what takes my attention and b) to stretch my reading wings. So I look forward to your plan! But I'm not on Goodreads (yet) I keep meaning to be but have no time for it (again – yet!)
Yay! Thanks for the friend request.
Hmmm, maybe I'll join. It certainly is tempting, although I hesitate to sign up for another social network… I recently quit facebook in an effort to become more unplugged and make my online activities more specific and productive. It does seem like goodreads would encourage offline reading time, though.
I suppose it's something to think about. Perhaps if your reviews are just too convincing, eh?
Ahh, I need to update my Goodreads so desperately. And yay for more book reviews! I love getting input before I head to the library.
